Job Overview Key Responsibilities - **Business Development & Sales Generation**: - Actively identify and secure new customers, managing the full sales cycle from initial contact to successful closing. - Conduct comprehensive rate quotations, lead all negotiation efforts, and diligently follow up on sales leads to maximize conversion. - Develop and implement strategic sales plans aligned with company goals, focusing on both outbound and inbound volume targets. - **Client Relationship Management**: - Cultivate and nurture exceptional relationships with existing and prospective clients, ensuring professional understanding and responsiveness to their diverse requirements. - Serve as a primary point of contact for client feedback, proactively addressing and resolving complaints to maintain high satisfaction levels. - **Market Analysis & Reporting**: - Stay abreast of relevant trade updates, market conditions, and competitor activities to provide actionable insights. - Attend and actively contribute to weekly sales meetings, providing comprehensive sales reports on customer portfolios and market dynamics. - Produce regular performance reports (e.g., MS performance) and analyze against year-over-year (SPLY) metrics to inform strategic decisions. - **Operational & Administrative Support**: - Strategically manage and reduce the idling time of empty containers to optimize operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness. - Maintain thorough knowledge of the company’s products, services, competitive landscape, and broader industry trends. - Ensure all administrative tasks pertinent to sales activities are completed accurately and in a timely manner. Job Requirements - **Education**: Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics, Maritime Studies, or a related field. - **Experience**: At least 5 years of progressive sales experience, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets. - **Industry Preference**:Preferably experienced within the Carrier Service or Container Lines industry.**: - **Skills**: - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). - Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong ability to build rapport. - Demonstrated strong negotiation and persuasive selling skills. - Possess a positive, proactive, and "can-do" attitude. - **Logistics/Mobility**: Possess a valid driving license and own transport with a good driving record. **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $5,500.00 - $5,800.00 per month **Benefits**: - Flexible schedule Schedule: - Monday to Friday **Experience**: - Logistics sales: 3 years (required) Work Location: In person Application Deadline: 31/07/2025
