Local Unit & Position Description:
DNV Maritime Ship Classification is seeking an intern to join our Technical Helpdesk (also DATE Centre Asia) in the Singapore Office (Section: M-ST-NA) for 3 to 6 months..

We deliver technical support services to internal and external customers world-wide. The department is overall responsible for DATE/ Technical helpdesk and Remote Surveys.

DATE Centre Asia is a branch/satellite of Technical Support Høvik. Its main task is to provide technical support to Fleet in service-related questions from internal and external customers within the sections area of expertise, and to provide Remote Surveys. Technical support units (Høvik, Hamburg, Houston, Greece and Singapore) provide 24/7 service to our customers globally via remote surveys and DATE® service.

Today, the section consists of 7 experienced engineers/surveyors including Head of Section. In view of high work load, we are seeking additional staff who can assist us with customers for the collection of drawing and other tasks as instructed.

**Job description**:

- Coordinate with ship owner/managers for collection of ship’s drawings (towards class entry)
- Monitor remote survey dashboard for incoming request
- Making minutes of section meetings
- Follow up of technical queries as advised by the experts from DNV
- Actively participate in section meetings and other sharing sessions/training

Position Qualifications:

- Bachelor or master’s degree relevant for the intended role (preferably naval architecture or marine engineering)
- Excellent verbal & written proficiency in English
