Junior Production Coordinator

**Description**
- Assist the Producers and Directors with the planning of the production where necessary
- Manage the day to day coordination of all production departments, including but not limited to, minutes taking, distribution of information, follow up with individuals on assigned tasks, status of shots, tracking status of fixes, preparing internal and external deliveries for review purpose
- Work with the assigned departments according to the schedule to ensure deliveries will be completed on time.
- Applies departmental schedules and reporting systems, based upon the master production schedule and tracking system
- Identifies existing or potential problem areas that may affect the schedule and coordinates with Production Managers and Directors to come up with solutions to ensure that the problem areas are solved
- Create weekly update reports for the assigned projects
- Reading, understanding and working to the schedule and budget
- Contract request and tracking
- Sourcing quotations and obtaining best costs
- Purchase order raising and invoice tracking
- Tracking of tasks and timelines, including but not limited to script schedules, post production schedules, Voice-Overs, etc.
- Distribution of materials for commenting and retrieval of notes and distribution to departments for next steps. Clearly communicating to all parties what is being actioned and any pushbacks. (script, VO, Boards, Animatics, Layout, Animation, LRC, M&E, final eps)
- Managing the marketing assets and other deliverables
- Process streamlining - how to create the best process and evolve through the production as needed

**Requirements**:

- Some industry experience on animation productions working as a Production Coordinator in animation. 1 yr+ is advantageous.
- Experience in 3D animation production.
- A thorough knowledge of animation process and good knowledge of the creative side of animation producing.
- Excellent knowledge of project management tools and methodologies, including Excel, Project, Google Docs, etc.
- Good oral and written English language communication skills.
- Strong team player with good communication skills and ability to facilitate resources across departments and divisions.
