**Position Responsibilities**

**Curriculum Leadership and Instructional Support**
- Lead the integration of emerging technologies (e.g., AI, blockchain, Web3, cybersecurity) into the TCR curriculum, ensuring alignment with industry trends, student needs, and strategic priorities.
- Drive course development, including the reimagining of existing units and the creation of new courses in response to the High School course review.
- Contribute to High School instruction by teaching, when required, selected courses related to emerging technologies as new offerings are developed (e.g. AI Semester course in academic year 25/26)
- Partner with PLCs across disciplines to embed competencies, learning progressions, and innovative technologies into interdisciplinary units.
- Collaborate with the Office of Learning and divisional leaders to identify instructional needs, align standards, and support implementation efforts through timely feedback and adjustments.

**Professional Development**
- Provide leadership, coaching, and professional development to faculty across all divisions, building confidence and competence in integrating emerging technologies into their teaching practices.
- Partner with divisional leaders and PLC coaches to ensure consistent instructional practices and foster innovative teaching strategies across disciplines.
- Act as a resource and mentor for teachers in developing technology-rich instructional strategies in areas of TCR and beyond.

**Strategic and Operational Leadership**
- Collaborate with divisional and central leadership to align the TCR program and broader curricular innovation with the school’s strategic vision.
- Support the implementation of frameworks and policies for the ethical and responsible use of AI and emerging technologies.
- Partner with the Office of Learning and divisional leaders to evaluate and refine curricular programs based on feedback and assessment data.

**Community and Industry Engagement**
- Facilitate partnerships with industry leaders, leveraging mentorship and internship opportunities for students and faculty in TCR and other disciplines.
- Act as an ambassador for the school’s innovation and emerging technology efforts across all areas of the curriculum and community.

**Other Responsibilities**
- Complete other duties as assigned by the Director of Technology and Innovation.

**Position Requirements & Qualifications**

**Required**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Educational Technology, or a related field.
- Master’s Degree in relevant field preferred
- Teaching license or a degree in education
- At least two years of full time teaching experience preferred
- Experience of instructional coaching, or related leadership experience preferred
- Expertise in emerging technologies, including but not limited to AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, blockchain, or Web3 preferred
- Experience in curriculum design and development, particularly in future-focused pathways preferred
- Strong facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written English language skills

**Preferred**
- Advanced degree in a relevant field.
- Experience teaching or leading instructional initiatives in K-12 or higher education.
- Proven ability to lead interdisciplinary projects and foster innovation.
- Knowledge of ethical considerations and frameworks for technology integration.
- Demonstrated experience building partnerships with industry leaders.
