**Hyster-Yale Asia-Pacific **is looking for a **Business Manager, Emerging Technology, APIC **to join the team at their Singapore office in Jurong East. The role is responsible for developing the APIC regional Product and Services Roadmap for Telemetry, Electrification, OAS, Robotics and Hydrogen technology verticals, including any new emerging technology trends.

**The key areas of responsibility will include:
- Product Roadmap: Develop product and services strategies, roadmaps, positioning strategies and product concepts through market and customer research. Develop product specifications, product feature matrix, competitive analysis, net price forecasts. Attend tradeshows and visit customers on a regular basis to gauge what products/solutions are needed from the market and our customers. Clearly define product lifecycle and maturity phases for the rest of the organization to understand.
- Product Marketing: Track product positioning as well as revenue and margin performance. Produce market segmentation analysis and market forecasts. Direct the Marketing and Brand teams with regards to their communication strategy to ensure our positioning is clearly communicated to the market. Develop plans to address competitive threats, monitor and report on the competitive atmosphere. Project manage all product launches. Take the lead on coordinating competitive benchmarking exercises to support our product development and product marketing activities.
- New Product Introduction: Work closely with Engineering, Emerging Technology Commissioning/ Field Engineering/ Service, and dealers to ensure readiness and robustness of launch.
- Continuous Improvement track problems and log issues; track and maintain project schedules; assist with product board / product advisory group.

**The Business Manager, Emerging Technology, APIC will suit someone who has:
- a master’s in engineering
- more than 7 years of relevant experience
- proven leadership and marketing/ sales success
- proficiency in relevant software tools, supplemental training, or certification
- the ability to build momentum internally with key stakeholders, dealers, and customers with expertise in commercial environments where persuasion/ dissuasion is needed to evaluate trade-offs.
