About the team

Responsible for requirement analysis and strategy optimization of Big Language Model, responsible for data quality and model effect, and working with multiple teams such as evaluation and R & D to improve model effect

**Responsibilities**:
1. Collaborate with both internal and external partners over the long term to devise a red-team strategy for LLM (Large Language Model) alignment.

2. Coordinate resources across TnS, LLM, and product teams to execute red-team tests and generate comprehensive reports, which include, but are not limited to, vulnerability assessments.

3. Monitor the latest developments in red-teaming, staying up-to-date with reports, requirements, and best practices from key industry players, regulatory bodies, and civil society groups. Utilize this information to refine the red-team strategy and issue timely risk alerts.

4. Establish a small, yet highly effective, team dedicated to red-teaming efforts.

**Qualifications**:
Job requirements

1. Solid understanding of key risks previously facing ByteDance corporate and products. (Or) extensive experience in LLM (Large Language Models) red-teaming or in red-teaming for other content/products.

2. A minimum of five years of work experience, with required skills in project management and people management.

3. Fluent in English, with required global education or work experience.

4. A strong interest in both LLMs and understanding human behavior, experience, and wellbeing. Must be an eager and enthusiastic learner.

5. A team player who knows how to assert influence without being overly aggressive. Excellent coordination and persuasion skills are crucial for success in this role.
