Programme Director

**Programme Director Lead based out of SG
1. The Programme Director is responsible for the overall integrity and coherence of the clients New Programme. They will develop and maintain the Programme environment to support workstream under a centralised Programme Office.

2. The Programme Director will be responsible for ensuring the delivery quality of all workstreams and oversee the clients key vendors. These workstreams will be managed day to day by designated project managers and workstream leads who report into the Programme Director.

3. Act on behalf of the consulting firm as the most senior programme resource that will provide guidance and support to the other internal workstream leads. The Programme Director should provide advice and support to the firms Partner group overseeing the programme.

4. Working in support of the clients senior stakeholders, planning, and designing the Programme and proactively monitoring its progress, resolving issues, and initiating appropriate corrective action

5. Run the Programme's governance arrangements aligns with the overall Programme's governance structure.

6. Ensuring effective quality assurance and the overall integrity of the Programme - focusing inwardly on the internal consistency of the Programme and outwardly on its coherence with infrastructure planning, interfaces with other programmes, with New Star and corporate, technical and specialist standards

7. Managing the direct Programme's resources and monitoring expenditure and costs against delivered and realised benefits as the Programme progresses

8. Ensuring the delivery of new solutions and services from the programme is to the appropriate level of quality, on time and within budget, per the programme plan and governance arrangements.

9. Ensuring there is allocation of shared resources and skills within the Programme's projects

10. Managing the project managers/workstream leads working within the Programme on individual project channels

11. Managing third-party contributions to the Programme

12. Managing senior level communications with all stakeholders on the progress of the programme (e.g. C-Level & C-1)

13. Managing both the dependencies and the interfaces between projects

14. Managing risks to the Programme's successful outcome

15. Initiating extra activities and other management interventions wherever gaps in the Programme are identified, or issues arise.

16. Reporting the progress of the Programme at regular intervals to the clients Programme Sponsor and the Programme Director

17. Programme Scope and Schedule Management

18. Oversee detailed (level 5) Programme and Project Planning, which can roll up to an overall holistic detailed programme delivery schedule (supported by Project Planning resources)

19. The Programme Director needs to be confident in dealing with a wide variety of stakeholders and needs to adapt their style of management and leadership to each situation

20. 15-20 years’ experience running large technology delivery programmes across the Asia financial services market (multi country delivery)

21. Preference for someone who has running a large and complex investment management transformation (Front office, middle and back office)

22. Investment management outsourcing exposure

23. Understands and has been responsible for running large platform replacements e.g. Legacy

24. Ability to manage C-suite level stakeholders and vendors

25. Expert level project planning and management skills

26. Has managed large delivery teams 30+
