Telenor Procurement Company (TPC), established in 2017 and headquartered in Singapore, operates as a subsidiary of the Telenor Group. We deliver Global Category Management as a service to the Telenor Business Units, taking full responsibility for the end-to-end Sourcing process and performance of global spend categories. Functioning as one Global Procurement team across all Telenor markets, we enable Telenor’s strategic ambitions by becoming a centre of expertise in the pursuit of efficient operations. TPC seeks qualified procurement professionals that are comfortable working in a global setup in the fast-paced Telecom field.

**Role Overview**

Sourcing Specialist will be part of the Category Strategic team and reports to the Head of Category. You will work closely with both Telenor Group Function and all the Business Units. Objective of this position is to perform various analysis to support category strategy, projects, tracking & updating category data in various digital tools and supporting in providing the data for management reports. As the Sourcing Specialist you will be collaborating actively within the category team, contributing to the end to end category management and strategy development, including sourcing execution, contract negotiations, as well as supplier management processes.

**Main responsibilities**
- Contribute to E2E category strategy development
- Perform analysis to support category strategy work and support implementation of category strategy
- Prepare and lead TCO analysis during procurement processes and participate in negotiations
- Build cost benchmarks for the category to facilitate various category sourcing process
- Collaborate with cross functional stakeholders in a sourcing process
- Maintain an awareness of latest buying techniques, theories and develop & standardize templates for the company
- Tracking on various project progress, savings, and targets of the category in systems and tools
- Prepare and present periodic reports on all procurement activities of the category
- Follow-up with Telenor Business Units on contract management requirements
- Identify, analyze, and develop new vendors across the markets for the category
- Compliance to the processes of the category and company

- Strong business knowledge in telecommunications landscape
- Strong ability to communicate and interact effectively (verbal, presentation, facilitation & listening modes of communication) across organizational and cultural boundaries, internal and external

**Qualification and Experiences Requirements**
- Minimum 3 years in a procurement / contract management / vendor management / supply chain management role or as functional expert in IT
- Bachelor degree, preferably within business administration, supply chain or similar.
- Broad experience with Microsoft & other relevant tools, e.g. Think Cell etc.
- Have insights into Sourcing process and strategies.
