Saks Global Properties & Investments includes Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus flagship properties and represents nearly 13 million square feet of prime U.S. real estate holdings and investments in luxury markets.**Role Summary:**As a Strategic Sourcing Specialist in Strategic Sourcing & Procurement, you'll be responsible for working with your Director to: develop and lead strategic sourcing events of moderate complexity; writing and negotiating contract terms and documents; and analyzing spend associated with specific indirect spend categories. Your work will positively impact bottom-line results/value while minimizing risks, foster internal and external relationships, and work with internal stakeholders to educate and promote the procurement policies. You will report to a Manager, Strategic Sourcing.**Role Description:**● Simultaneously Lead indirect sourcing initiatives for IT, driving strategic improvements, and delivering on operational targets, savings goals, and business strategies ● Conduct total cost modeling and sensitivity/scenario analysis to help stakeholders understand trade-offs and benefits to multiple outcomes ● Assist with the analysis and planning for various components of indirect spend categories to ensure operational success and results ● Use sourcing tools to support departmental efforts to refine and improve procurement processes and policies ● Develop and manage relationships with business stakeholders and provide regular project status updates ● Partner with multiple corporate functions (e.g., Financial Planning & Analysis, Accounting, Legal, etc.) as part of your sourcing projects and related activities ● Review, revise, and negotiate contract language ● Assist in the development and management of the contract renewal process ● Participate in supplier relationship activities (e.g., regular business reviews, vendor score carding, etc.)● You will own sourcing projects and work with your Director to bring them to completion**Required Qualifications (Minimum Requirements)**: ● Bachelor's degree preferably in supply chain management, engineering, or business ● 3+ years of experience in Strategic Sourcing ● Demonstrated capabilities of leading sourcing projects, contract negotiations and authoring, and driving savings/value ● Ability to build relationships through verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills ● Experience coordinating teams and collecting insights ● Understanding of multi-step strategic sourcing processes, sourcing tools, and strategies**Your Life and Career at Saks Global:**● Opportunity to work in a dynamic fast paced environment at a company experiencing growth and transformation ● Exposure to rewarding career advancement opportunities across the largest multi-brand luxury retailer from retail to distribution, to digital or corporate ● Comprehensive benefits package for all eligible full-time employees (including medical, vision and dental)Saks.com is an equal opportunity employer.
