[What the role is]

Work closely with various stakeholders as part of IT infrastructure and services team to design, manage and maintain cloud and IT services.

[What you will be working on]
- Lead projects and collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose the appropriate cloud hosting options for new ICT systems including COTS.
- Support the organization’s Cloud Migration Plan to migrate existing on-premises ICT systems (including Schools’ ICT systems) to the Cloud.
- Plan, design, and setup infrastructure and resources in NYP’s Cloud environment.
- Administer NYP’s Cloud infrastructure such as EC2/S3/ELB/CloudWatch/Systems Manager, etc in compliance with prevailing security policies and guidelines.
- Explore and leverage Singapore Government Tech Stack (e.g. DevSecOps, CI/CD, etc) and other new technologies/solutions where applicable.
- Provide centralized administration and management of endpoint devices including monitoring with endpoint security controls such as antivirus management.
- Seek and analyse root causes of issues and collaborate with technical teams from various domains and vendors in providing solutions.
- Manage the procurement and maintenance renewals of hardware, software and service subscriptions for End-user Computing systems and services.
- Analyse, develop and communicate the technology deployment process, seek feedback from stakeholders and make continual improvement in the operations phase.
- Tracking of Store Inventory and issuing of equipment.

[What we are looking for]
- Relevant qualification in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or related discipline.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in End-user Computing environment and familiar with systems, OS and technologies in the following areas: Anti-virus, Disk encryption, patch management, Windows 10 desktop management tools, Windows GPOs, AD/AAD
- Experienced in Service Desk management processes, end-user device deployment planning, tracking of issues & resolution follow-through.
- Possess Microsoft 365 & Office 365 domain knowledge to drive Digital Workplace transformation.
- At least 3 years’ experience in Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud administration
- Certification as an AWS Solutions Architect Associate, AWS SysOp Administrator or other cloud-related certifications would be an added advantage
- IaaS/PaaS/SaaS for cloud hosting options
- Distributed networking including TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP and HTTP
- Microsoft Windows Server and/or Red Hat Enterprise Linux
- PowerShell/YAML/JSON/AWS CLI scripting
- Strong presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong analytical, conceptualization and problem-solving skills
- Ability to effectively engage stakeholders in understanding business needs
- Experience in managing projects and vendors
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
