The development and integration of a vehicle encompass the entire process of design, engineering, and assembly, with a strong emphasis on incorporating advanced systems and technologies. This involves coordinating various subsystems to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and adherence to industry standards, resulting in a fully integrated and compliant vehicle. Job Description System Design and Development Collaborate with project teams to develop system requirements and objectives for vehicle. Conduct competitor studies and evaluate the viability of proposed system designs and specifications. Implementation and Integration Implementation of engineering systems, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors as necessary. Develop vehicle configurations and integrate new systems with existing infrastructure, ensuring compatibility and seamless operation. Develop and execute test plans to validate vehicle system functionality and performance. Troubleshoot issues and implement corrective actions to address system failures or deficiencies. Documentation and Compliance Create comprehensive documentation, including system specifications, system requirements, design documents, and user manuals. Ensure compliance with industry/military/automotive standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices. Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities for system optimisation, enhancement to achieve target system cost. Conduct research and evaluate emerging technologies to stay abreast of industry trends. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with other engineering disciplines, such as electrical, mechanical, and software engineering, to achieve integrated solutions. Collaborate with project managers, product managers, and stakeholders to align engineering systems with business objectives. Job Requirements Good understanding of automotive systems and system engineering, with a focus on designing and implementing complex engineering systems. Proficiency in engineering design tools, simulation software, and project management methodologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues and propose effective solutions. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Familiarity with relevant industry standards, regulations, and compliance requirements. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously. #J-18808-Ljbffr
