Get to Know the Role Clickstream Intelligence Platform (Scribe) is Grab's in‐house app instrumentation and insights platform that captures and analyzes user clickstream activity across all Grab apps. The platform supports observability, real‐time personalization, and business analytics by processing tens of billions of events per hour at petabyte scale. This 6‐month full‐time on‐site role in Singapore is part of the GRIT Programme. You will help build and improve core services for Scribe and fix issues under guidance to keep systems reliable and stable. Critical Tasks You Will Perform Write clean, simple, and well‐tested backend code. Learn how data flows across large‐scale distributed systems and support backend tasks like APIs, storage, and event processing. Participate in code reviews and team discussions to grow engineering fundamentals. Get exposure to AWS, Go, MySQL, Redis, and other backend technologies used in Scribe. Qualifications Studying Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. Good understanding of CS fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, OOP). Hands‐on programming in Go or Python. Strong problem‐solving and analytical skills. Proactive, eager to learn, and motivated to build products. Technical fluency and familiarity with AI concepts and tools.
