 
						Outreach & Volunteer Assistant Manager/manager

**Responsibilities**:
i) Administration & Operations
- Recommend and implement policies and practices for the efficient and effective operation and management of services under your purview.
- Supervise or oversee a small team to perform required outreach and volunteer management.
- Responsible for achieving key performance indicators, providing progress reports and assisting in data analysis for planning and reporting purposes.
ii) Community Outreach & Networking
- Responsible for outreach to referral agencies, community, schools, public service organisations and hospitals for client referrals and enrolment.
- Participate in events organised or supported by SPD and assist the organisation in developing strong networks with other SSAs, community organisations and funding bodies like, MSF, NCSS, MOH, SG Enable and more.
iii) Volunteer development, management and relations
- Identify and create volunteer opportunities that relate to the needs of ESH to attract and engage volunteers meaningfully and regularly.
- Recruit, develop, manage, train, deploy and retain ESH volunteers to increase engagement with the community, and promote the interest and welfare of ESH services.
- Monitor and evaluate volunteer activities to ensure effectiveness in meeting ESH’s objectives
- Develop and review volunteer policies, procedures and standards of volunteer service in ESH.
- Manage volunteer acknowledgement and appreciation programmes and activities.
- Network with external agencies and corporates on volunteerism needs and possible collaborations.
- Oversee the sustaining of volunteer involvement/interests and evaluating of volunteer performances.
iv) Work on cross-divisional projects as assigned from time to time.
v) Any other duties as assigned by the ESH Lead, or the Director, Adult & Elderly Services
**Requirements**:
- A Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline related to social sciences or marketing with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Track record of working with volunteers, corporates, community groups and foundations.
- Analytical, flexible, resilient and ability to see different perspectives and draw connectivity.
- Confident as an independent worker and also a good team player.
- Able to work in the evenings, Saturdays and/or Sundays.
