DESIGNATION : Manager, Social Enterprise

RESPONSIBILITIES

To manage subcontract work operations and relationships with partners. He/She will liaise with production centres to ensure smooth business operations. He/She will also generate leads for subcontract work and group employment for persons with intellectual disabilities.
- Develop new business opportunities
- Develop goals and objectives to increase employment of PWID
- Designing and implementing plans to promote the attainment of goals
- Develop partnership programmes for business or employment opportunities
- Generate leads for business/employment growth
- Support Snr Manager during annual budgeting
- Work with various sectors to understand needs and identify available work opportunities for employment of PWIDs or jobs available for Assisted Employment or Subcontract work in the EDCs
- Guide team members to align with Assisted Employment/Subcontract/Enclave projects and work streams
- Engage team in project execution from ideation to implementation
- Work closely with EDCs and any other internal stakeholders for coordination to execute the projects
- Ensure organisation has adequate resources to complete its activities
- Organised and co-ordinate operations with production teams in ways to ensure maximum productivity
- Manage key accounts and build strong relationship
- Business negotiation with key resources required for the project
- Manage relationship with partners/vendors/supplier
- Contract negotiation
- Manage any business dispute/crisis
- Work with internal stakeholders for coordination in managing crisis

QUALIFICATIONS

Degree in Business Administration or equivalent from a recognised tertiary institution

OTHER INFORMATION
- Min 2-5 years’ experience in supervisory position
- Proficiency in English
- Possesses strong business acumen or past business development/ project management experience.
- Experience in disability sector will be an added advantage
