About the job:
We are looking for a paralegal and complaints handler to join our APAC Legal Team for 12 months with the possibility to be converted to a permanent position. You will report directly to the Head of Legal APAC. Your key deliverable in the role will be handling client complaints, liaising with FIDReC and corresponding with clients. As part of this you will produce reports and data to track complaints into the team and identify trends. As part of a smaller legal team, you will also be involved in broader legal case management, document reviews and legal process refinement.
- Responsibilities:
- Overall responsibility for Complaints, liaising with regulatory bodies, investigating root causes, tracking relevant themes, making recommendations in respect of complaints resolution and potential business improvements.-
- Working with internal and external stakeholders across all areas of the Saxo Bank Group to ensure all complaints are handled quickly and efficiently.-
- Assisting with enquiries from various authorities.-
- Manage legal documentation and correspondence, both internal and external, in strict confidence.-
- Broader contract life-cycle support for client agreements like NDAs, MOUs, Letters of Intent etc.-
- Support to product governance and standard documentation annual review cycle.-
- Support to the wider legal team in relation to legal process improvements.-
- Assisting other Legal Counsel with ad-hoc matters and Company Secretarial support.- How do you succeed:

- We are looking for someone with experience as a paralegal or legal support e.g., law firm or finance and ideally someone who has worked in a contentious/complaints environment before. You need to have knowledge of MS Office in particular Word, Excel and Outlook.

- Controlling cost and generating higher and more stable revenue, leading to an improved EBIT margin

- Supporting mergers and Acquisitions for the Group
- Supervising and overseeing the review, negotiation and drafting of major contracts, tender documents and other legal documents, as required by the operational departments
- Organizing and managing liquidity globally
