**Get to know the Role**:
At GXS, we want to help the everyday man and woman on the street and entrepreneurs make informed decisions as they pursue their aspirations.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about telling compelling and differentiated stories and who can be the lead driver of GXS’ content strategy, supporting the Head of PR and Corporate Comms. You will need to distill complex economic, banking and finance and investment-related concepts into meaningful and relevant content for different audiences. These include the media, the everyday man and woman on the street and entrepreneurs.

You must have at least 10 years of experience in PR, corporate communications, journalism and/or content marketing.

**The day-to-day activities**:

- Support the Head of PR and Corp Comms to develop and drive the bank’s content strategy across multiple channels and formats such as conferences and webinars
- Work closely with the Head of PR/Comms in reputation management
- Develop and coordinate content campaigns across earned, paid and owned media to drive customer engagement
- Develop and lead content partnerships, such as with news and lifestyle media, research consultancies and tertiary institutions
- Create content that empowers and gives our customers the confidence to make informed financial decisions for their lives and businesses
- Track performance of content campaigns and be responsible for iterating content to improve engagement and relevance
- Work hand in hand with marketing to build a kick ass brand

**The must-haves**:

- A university degree in any discipline and/or relevant work and life experiences
- 10 years of experience in PR, corporate communications, journalism and/or content marketing
- Demonstrate strong media relationships and ability to craft strong media pitches
- Portfolio of content that you are proud to have created
- Proven experience in issues and crisis communications
- Moderate to deep knowledge of financial literacy, financial technology and the banking and finance industry
- Must love words and appreciate its nuances
- Start-up experience is a major plus; eagerness to operate in an ever-changing, dynamic, highly competitive, and fast-paced environment is a must
- Ambitious, self-driven and highly motivated individual who can work well in a startup VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, Ambiguous) environment. Should have a deep desire to excel and develop a career in a fast-growing tech company. Should have demonstrated integrity and respect in the performance of their duties.
