Singapore WANHUA CHEMICAL (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. Full time

**Responsibilities**:

- 1. Trade Execution:

- Buy and sell physical LPG / NAPHATHA cargoes (FOB, CFR, CIF) and spot/product barrels across key global markets (e.g., USGC, ME, Asia, Europe, Med).
- Execute paper trades (futures, swaps, options) on relevant exchanges (e.g., CME, MOEX, FFA) for hedging and speculative purposes.
- Manage term contracts and portfolio positions.

2. **Market Analysis & Strategy:

- Conduct fundamental analysis of global LPG/Naphtha supply/demand balances, including production, exports, imports, storage levels, petchem demand, seasonal factors, and weather impacts.
- Perform technical analysis of price charts and market trends.
- Monitor geopolitical events, shipping/freight rates, arbitrage economics, and competitor activity.
- Develop, implement, and refine short-term and medium-term trading strategies based on market insights.

3. **P&L Management**:

- Be directly accountable for the profitability of the assigned trading book(s).
- Monitor daily P&L, positions, and mark-to-market valuations.
- Analyze trading performance and identify areas for improvement.

4. **Relationship Management**:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key counterparties (producers, refiners, consumers, other traders, brokers).
- Negotiate contracts and pricing effectively.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams: Operations, Chartering, Logistics, Risk, Credit, Finance, and Research.

5. **Logistics & Operations Coordination**:

- Work closely with Operations and Chartering desks to ensure efficient and cost-effective execution of physical deals (nominations, scheduling, demurrage management, documentation).
- Understand vessel requirements, freight costs, and port logistics.

【Key Requirements】

1. Fresh graduates with university degree major in statistics, economy, etc.

2. Good knowledge in oil refining, petrochemical industry chain and international trading, for example LPG fundamentals, including production, distribution, and consumption patterns.

3. Familiarity with programming languages like VBA, Python, or R can be advantageous

for automating tasks and enhancing analytical capabilities.

4. Ability to interpret complex data sets and provide actionable insights for trading decisions.

5. Skilled in preparing clear and concise reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
