DESIGNATION : Care Associate (Nursing Home)*

RESPONSIBILITIES

The care associate supports and assists the nurses in the delivery of care to residents in the nursing home, engages residents with recreational and rehabilitative activities and aids the residents with the activities of daily living, in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Assists residents with care such as grooming and maintaining personal hygiene standards.
- Prepares and serves meals to the residents, taking into account any special dietary needs and personal preferences.
- Curates and facilitates recreational activities that would appeal to the residents and ensuring that they are suitably stimulated.
- Assists in rehabilitation activities such as motion exercise and walking with residents.
- Performs general housekeeping to maintain cleanliness of the nursing home, as and when necessary.
- Ensures the safety, comfort and well-being of the residents.
- Escalate to nurses any emergency situations.

Working hours:

- Flexible working hours
- Morning or Afternoon Shift:

- AM - 7.30am to 4.30pm
- PM - 11.00am to 8.00pm
- 5 day work week

QUALIFICATIONS

Secondary/Primary education (On-the-job training will be provided).

Good communication skills

Empathy and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with residents.
