Do you have what it takes to be a part of this award winning combination? **RESPONSIBILITIES** - Responsible for database administration and management - Carry out periodical production patch and upgrade management - Manage DB backups and recovery - Perform preventive maintenance support in DB environments - Ensure all components in DB environments are monitored via monitoring tools and act on proactive alerts - Work on root cause analysis during major problems and outages - Able to collaborate with DBA architects, Product owners on DB optimization - SQL Db health check and table performance tuning - SQL Db account related Incident, Incident Reports and Service Request Tickets - Monitoring of all alerts pertaining to Database - Review existing software architecture and contribute to improving on the future architecture for stability and a maximum of performance - Collect and analyze database performance information; identify and implement solutions for performance problems **QUALIFICATIONS** - Committed and motivated individual and willing to work odd hours at times when required - Knowledge and hands-on working experience in Solaris, Aix and Windows is a must; experience in Linux will be advantageous - Experience in transactional database design and management of large database (> 1TB) will be highly advantageous - Relevant working experience as MySQL/ Maria Db /MSSQL Database Administrator in production environment would be advantageous - Managing experience of MSSQL servers (2008, 2012, 2014, 2016) Strong understanding in Database clustering techniques and operations - Past working experience in Cloud environment is an advantage - Able to manage daily support tasks to meet stringent SLA requirements - Excellent scheduling and multitasking skills **OTHER INFORMATION
