**Key Role and Responsibilities**:
- Oversee, manage, co-ordinate, integrate and evaluate the activities of the function.
- Supports programs from the early phases of project take on to integration and testing.
- Participates in the formulation and execution of a TS systems integration strategy ensuring alignment to the overall business strategy and objectives.
- Manage and improve the TS systems integration management function to increase service revenues and profitability in line with financial targets.
- Manage the operational implementation of the strategic goals of the function by providing leadership to a team
- Regularly review the operational plan and resources with respect to the current sales forecast and service contract volumes.
- Support the definition of systems architectures for business opportunities during the project take on phase.
- Design and develop integration plans and create links for multi-platform, multi-vendor business solutions.
- Identify and develop technology related opportunities and integrate IT resources to fulfil project requirements.
- Support the interpretation of customer requirements and reduce these into hardware and system requirements and specifications.
- Identify and develop specifications, control documents, verification and validation plans, procedures, reports, or other documentation in support of design and development activities.
- Manage the development of project metrics during the project planning phase and after initiation.
- Prepare and maintain detailed project plans or schedules to manage and monitor the progress of the integration to ensure objectives are achieved within timelines and budget.
- Identify and schedule resources required during the integration phase.
- Take responsibility for budget tracking and cost benefit analysis.
- Take accountability for the planning of and leverages various tools/methodologies for critical phases such as unit testing, data conversions and cutovers.
- Assess and effectively manage all risks associated with the project integration and define and adhere to project governance, risk, project metrics and delivery frameworks.
- Contribute to the implementation of improvements focused on optimisations that will be valuable to the integration process and mitigate risk.
- Collaborate with the TS Program /Project Manager to support execution and project implementation.
- May act as the technical lead of the TS Implementation Engineers and the TS Program Manager’s technical liaison.
- Analysis data and prepares reports and reviews and ensures the distribution and presentation of this information at the relevant forums.
- Act as people managers to a team and ensures established performance goals are met, continuously drive for client satisfaction, monitoring the performance of the consultant experts, ensuring the completion of assignments.
**Knowledge, skills and attributes**:
- Ability to compile technical specifications in a clear, concise, unambiguous manner
- Broad understanding of architectural standards and systems engineering and integration practices
- Ability to manage multiple suppliers and vendors, both internal and external, on the integration of diverse technologies
- Ability to perform a substantial amount of diagnostic and troubleshooting work
- Excellent research and synthesis skills
- Ability to integrate it with new or existing hardware, packaged and custom software and communications infrastructure
- Solid management and leadership ability
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Understanding of the Agile software delivery processes (SCRUM, Kanban preferable)
- Decision making and influencing skills are necessary
- Strong accounting or financial analysis skills
**Academic Qualifications and Certifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in BEng or BSc or related
- Relevant certifications and/or licenses
**Experience required**:
- Solid experience in software engineering and controls engineering
- Solid experience providing IT consulting and/or implementation services to clients within a relevant industry
- Experience in the development of integrated systems and participation in several integrated systems programs, providing leadership of a project team
