Summary of Job

Key Responsibility Areas

Strategy, Planning, and Implementation
- Develop effective communication and marketing strategies to drive top mind recall and increase public awareness.
- Develop engaging social media content across owned platforms to cultivate and build online support for our cause.
- Effective use of data to inform planning, execution and analyses of communication efforts.
- Implement innovative ways to engage and grow supporters and donors of Make-A-Wish Singapore.
- Develop and manage the organisation’s brand champions / ambassador network.
- Provide communication support for Make-A-Wish Singapore’s key events (e.g. Charity Golf, Santa Race) and the organisation’s operational communication needs (e.g. Newsletter, Annual Report).
- Build and maintain good working relations with the media.

Community Management
- Maintain the regular upkeep of digital tools such as Air table, Canva, Strappy, Active Campaign, Hoot Suite, among others.
- Maintain development, management, and maintenance of all online communities and platform to ensure all is regularly updated with the latest news and information.

Branding and Corporate Identity
- Maintain a message house for the Foundation.
- Ensure compliance of the MAWI brand guide.
- Oversee the use and quality of CIs utilized across MAW.

Governance and Management
- Work closely with senior leadership to develop impactful messaging for key stakeholders.
- Support the CEO to lead the publication of Wishing Well and Annual Report.
- Oversee performance management of team to ensure KPIs are met.
- Other relevant responsibilities as assigned by the CEO.

**Requirements**:
**Experience**:

- 3-5 years of communication-related experience (e.g. digital media / marketing, content creation, journalism, events management with a comms function, etc.)

Qualifications:

- Degree / Diploma in communication-related disciplines. e.g Digital Media, Journalism, Marketing, and PR-related areas required.
- Experience in social service sector preferred.

Competencies (Skills, Knowledge, and Capabilities):

- Capable of creating effective publicity outcomes across both digital and non-digital platforms e.g. creating content for Make-A-Wish Singapore on digital/social media, pitching stories to media and drafting effective press releases.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Keen analytical and tactical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills working with both internal and external stakeholders.
- A positive and self-motivated individual who is also a team player in supporting and helping others succeed.

Official working hours:

- 8:30am - 5:30pm
- Flexi Work Arrangement (Work From Home) is in place upon confirmation.
