Roles & Responsibilities

**Responsibilities**:

- The main role of the business analyst is to help map the business requirements into clear technical solutions. This will involve working with the business to clarify the requirement, working with various technical teams within the bank to identify the functional changes in the systems, preparing the functional specifications and also walkthrough the functional specifications with the business to obtain sign-off.
- The BA is also expected to verify the final solution to ensure the deliverable is fit-for-purpose. To this end, he/she must ensure that the test scenarios are valid and comprehensive.
- You are expected to establish and maintain good working relationships with all that you are engaged with.

**Qualifications**:

- Over 6 years of onsite Project experience as a Business Analyst in Avaloq
- In-depth knowledge of software development processes and principles (e.g. scrum agile, rapid delivery, classic or traditional waterfall phases of analysis, design, development, testing, implementation).
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of the Wealth Management lifecycle and Financial Markets and practices
- Investment knowledge and understanding Financial Products such as Equities/ Fixed Income / Mutual Funds/FX / Structured Products/ Derivatives
- Good understanding of Wealth Management /Private Banking practices
- Knowledge of SQL, XML, FIX messaging and JIRA an added advantage
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills whilst working under tight time constraints
- Ability to understand and respond to Business needs in a rapidly changing environment
