Avaloq Developer

This is an Avaloq developer role with a focus on 2nd level support (incidents). The role will
also work on change requests and includes the possibility of being assigned to key projects.
- Incident analysis and resolution (2nd level support);
- Coordinate and work with business users, business analysts and other development
teams;
- Create solution proposals for existing incidents;
- Challenge user requirements in a positive manner to ensure they are suf f iciently
robust;
- Work closely with Business Analysts;
- Identify risks and issues early. Communicate to the relevant people in a timely
manner. Propose and plan mitigation steps;
- Analysis, design and develop new functionality and enhancements of the core
banking system Avaloq;
- Working in a global team.
Essential Skills
- Tertiary education in Computer related disciplines;
- Minimum 2 years of Avaloq parameterization experience
- PL/SQL and Oracle Database knowledge and experience;
- Experience in Avaloq and PL/SQL performance tuning is a plus;
- Experience in support / incident handling;
- Working experience in a bank environment ;
- Business analysis skills;
- Endurance in problem analysis;
- Good communication skills across dif ferent cultures;
- Customer-service oriented with a problem-solving attitude;
- Self -motivated professional with a positive attitude and willingness to learn;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- A great team player.
