Singapore Home Team Science and Technology Agency (HTX) Full time

**What the role is**

We are looking for an internal communications leader who is overflowing with exciting and excellent ideas on how to engage colleagues across the agency to join our team. He/She will report to the Director of Strategic Comms who helms both external and internal communications.

**What you will be working on**

Role:

- Position HTX’s work in Science and Technology as critical in enhancing the Home Team’s efforts to “keep Singapore safe and secure” to the internal audience;
- Generate trust and garner appreciation for the organisation’s and Home Team’s work amongst the internal audience; and
- Oversee the CSR function.
Specific work duties include:

- Conceptualise original and effective engagement/communication plans to capture hearts and minds of the internal audience
- Repurpose story ideas developed by colleagues in the Strat Comms team for the internal audience using a suite of communications tools
- Work collaboratively with colleagues in HR to develop and foster corporate culture
- Oversee the management of content on the internal communications portals in HTX
- Manage CSR as a function to do good as well as rally colleagues in the agency to do good.

**What we are looking for**

Requisite Qualities:

- Team player
- Self-starter
- Able to work across departments and lead through influencing
- Good ability in starting and managing projects
- Good grasp of a range of communication skills such as messaging, positioning, and story-telling
- Good track record of developing content using an entire suite of communications tools
- At least 15 years’ experience in Internal/Corporate Communications or Branding/Marketing, with at least five years of supervisory experience.
- University graduate (post-graduate degree in journalism, communications and business will have an advantage)
All new appointees will be appointed on a two-year contract in the first instance.
