**Responsibilities**:

- Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with the executive team to develop and implement the company's vision, mission, and strategic goals. Ensure that operational strategies align with the organization's overarching objectives.
- Operational Excellence: Drive operational efficiency and effectiveness across functions, including manufacturing, supply chain, quality control, and distribution. Continuously assess and optimize processes to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of operational and functional leaders. Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration to ensure the team's success.
- Supply Chain Management: Oversee the end-to-end supply chain, from procurement to distribution, ensuring timely delivery and inventory management. Implement best practices to enhance supply chain performance.
- Quality Control: Ensure that the company's products meet the highest quality standards. Implement quality control measures and continuous improvement initiatives to maintain and improve product quality.
- Financial Management: Work closely with the CFO to manage the operational budget, control costs, and optimize resource allocation. Monitor financial performance against objectives and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines. Stay updated on industry changes and adapt the company's operations accordingly.
- Technology and Innovation: Identify and implement technology solutions and innovations to improve operational efficiency and stay competitive in the industry.
- Risk Management: Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate operational risks, safeguard assets, and ensure business continuity.
- Communication and Reporting: Keep the executive team and board of directors informed about operational performance through regular reporting and presentations. Maintain transparency and open lines of communication.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; an MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus.
- Proven experience as a COO or senior operational executive in a manufacturing or battery-related industry.
- Strong leadership and management skills with a track record of successfully leading teams and driving operational improvements.
- In-depth knowledge of battery manufacturing, supply chain, and quality control processes.
- Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with industry regulations and standards.
- Experience working in a global, multicultural environment is a plus.
