We are seeking a sales engineer to help accelerate Growth at Supabase. Supabase is one of the Top Y Combinator’s startups; we are an open source and fully remote company building developer tools for hundreds of thousands of indie developers, startups, and businesses. We are proud of our product; it has been massively adopted by developers community, we just hit 40K stars on Github and we are one of the most upvoted dev tools launches ever on HackerNews(second only to Stripe). Besides, we are a well-funded series B start-up backed by Y Combinator, Felicis, Coatue, and a bunch of amazing developers. **Our product**: Each project within Supabase is an isolated Postgres cluster, allowing customers to scale independently, while still providing the features that you need to build: instant database setup, auth, row level security, realtime data streams, auto-generating APIs, and a simple to use web interface. **As a sales engineer, you will**: - Partner with potential customers and ensure they can succeed with Supabase. You’ll understand their business needs | tech stack | use case and guide them to the right features. - Be a trusted advisor and main technical point of contact for our clients. You will help our sales team gather technical requirements and communicate them to our engineering teams. - Design and deliver demos, closely collaborate with our Sales and Success teams and help them pitch how Supabase features for particular clients / use cases. **You are**: - Technical polyglot. You can grasp Supabase’s code base and dive into it to figure out how it can be used to close the deal. Key Tech: PostgreSQL, Typescript, Javascript, Flutter, Go, Elixir. Expert in relational databases, ideally PosgreSQL, and backend services (APIs, realtime, authorization & authentication). - You are familiar with modern frontend stack/frameworks (React, Node.js preferably) - Empathetic and able pay close attention to the customer needs - You are passionate about open source **We offer**: - 100% remote work from anywhere in the world. We support existing communities and tools, rather than building "yet another xx". - We "dogfood" everything.
