Business Development Manager

**Purpose of Position**
Develop DEIF’s Land and Marine business on selected markets and countries (Australia and Japan).
Gain knowledge, increase market awareness and strengthen DEIF’s position on the focused countries to achieve targeted turnover and build up sustainable growth.
Responsible for the Shipowner work in Asia Region, territories covered by DEIF Asia Pacific, DEIF India, DEIF GCC, DEIF Korea and Japan.
**Major Responsibilities & Mandates**
Responsible for business and sales development in selected countries (Australia and Japan).
Responsible for development strategy, business plan and budget elaboration.
Responsible for Shipowner work and coordination in Asia Region.
Responsible for sharing inputs from customers to DEIF product portfolio.
Mandate to initiate strategic discussion with customers and partners on selected countries.
Mandate to negotiate solutions and prices with customers and partners on selected countries.
**Working Tasks**
Develop action plans for the area including goals/KPI’s.
Responsible for high level of professionalism and quality within the agreed deliverables.
Responsible for the budget’s creation and achievement within the area of responsibility.
Develop DEIF sales and business with international partners and customers.
Set-up, animate and reinforce local sales channel network.
Visit Shipowners in Asia Region, promote DEIF products and solutions, spec-in DEIF, gather information and coordinate with relevant stakeholders in subsidiaries and with peers in other DEIF’s Regions (ENEA, China, Americas Region).
Participate to DEIF Asia Pacific sales structure and support colleagues whenever needed.
Plan, organize and attend exhibitions, customer fairs and visits.
Secure compliance and act as a role model towards the company values, Code of Conduct, Group Policies etc.
Require travel to Asia Region countries (incl. Turkey, India, ME, Korea, Japan, Australia, and all countries of Asia Pacific).
**Qualifications & Experiences**
Bachelor of Technology in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical)
- MBA in International Business would be a plus _
- Accredited Tier Specialist Uptime institute would be a plus15 years’ experience in Sales and Business Development of Power Management Systems and Regulation products
- DEIF’s deep knowledge for Land and Marine would be a plus _
Solid track record, references and experience in Gas, Hydro, and Critical Power systems.
Good knowledge of Australia and Japan Markets with existing list of contacts in the field.
Previous experience to work in an international environment with an EU HQ based company.
