**JOB PURPOSE**

Support the regional needs for cross Strategic Business Unit (SBU) / Business Unit (BU) / Segment ROA marcom activities including planning and execution of marketing communications plans to drive business performance and enhance the customer/ stakeholder experience while ensuring consistency with global brand guidelines in the execution of activities across all regions. The role will require regular engagements with SBU teams, as well as cross-functional teams within Corporate Affairs. The role is expected to work across different BUs/Market Segments depending on the priorities of the business at any given time.

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
**- _Support regional BU/segments as a cross-BU/SBU regional focal point to address various marketing communications needs including but not limited to development of press release, social media posts, video content, event management, intranet _stories, brochures and other collaterals
- Implement and execute agreed marketing communications activities in collaboration with SBU/BU teams to enable business growth and improve the customer experience globally and regionally in alignment with global brand guidelines and event management policies
- Engage team members in other regions (virtual team) to coordinate and execute the agreed marcom activities locally/ regionally/ globally
- Collaborate and engage with Brand CoE and Corporate Communications teams to ensure leverage of all global programs/tools available (e.g. templates for promotional materials, signature design, design guidelines, SABIC Brand Space etc)
- Monitor, measure and report on impact and effectiveness of activities vs KPIs, and propose key learnings for future events
- Manage the day-to-day relationships with all agencies and partners with regard to all relevant SBU marcom activities.
**EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS**
- Degree in Mass Communications or Business Studies with specialization in marketing, branding, advertising, marketing communication or new media. Training in material science is a bonus. Diploma holder with relevant business or marcom experience may be considered
- Min. 5 years’ experience in marketing communications roles, preferably across multiple geographic regions and business models in complex matrix structures
- Understanding of B2B, but B2C experience would be an added advantage
