Major Incident Manager, Associate

**JOB DESCRIPTION**
As a Major Incident Manager in Infrastructure Platforms, you will use creative problem-solving and initiative to drive recovery of technology services to minimize impacts to the firm’s businesses, clients, and customers. You are an excellent communicator who can take command of a situation, engage and partner with different technology teams to quickly diagnose and restore services. You are part of a motivated global team who provide a 24x7x365 follow the sun service and are empowered to ensure the stability of the technology infrastructure environment globally.
**Job responsibilities**
- Participates in triaging incidents, assessing impacts, and identifying resources needed
- Manages the restoration of incidents affecting critical business services
- Identify and address opportunities in process, procedures, tooling, and knowledge management
**Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills**
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate with senior stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to work through ambiguity
- The ability to exercise sound judgment and decision-making under pressure
- A team player with the ability to foster relationships
- Experience with Service Management Tools, such as ServiceNow, collaboration and communication tools like MS Teams
- Must be able to work a shift pattern which will include one weekend day
**Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills**
- Broad understanding of technology such as Cloud, Mainframe, Distributed Systems, Storage and Networks
- General understanding of Financial Services and key drivers of business performance
- ITIL Foundation Certification
