Senior Sales Insights & Enablement Analyst
- Are you interested in building business dashboards and translating data into insights? Do you wish to work on developing predictive & prescriptive analytics in a data-driven sales environment?
- About our team:

- The Sales Insights & Enablement team is responsible for providing the Elsevier Global Research Sales organisation with data-based insights. We use the latest technologies such as Tableau for dashboards, Salesforce as our CRM and Snowflake for our data. We are responsible for driving the data culture in Sales.
- An exciting opportunity as a Sales Insights and Enablement Analyst has come up. You will be responsible for managing the main performance dashboards, which help the Sales business understand where their gaps are and what is their business outlook. As the world moves to a more digital approach, you will also be challenged to analyse the most effective ways to interact with our customers and provide these insights to Sales. You will liaise with the business advisors in Sales operations to drive a data-driven approach with the Sales leaders. You will also help provide insights by analysing the business for risks and opportunities.
- Responsibilities
- Create and Maintain Tableau dashboards for Sales to help monitor business performance and outlook.
- Create new dashboards to monitor the impact of new digital enablement tools like Outreach, Gong and Vidyard. As Sales moves towards digital engagement, analyse the most effective ways of engaging with our Customers.
- Improve the predictive and prescriptive territory alerts we provide to Sales. Work with whole sales insights team to educate Sales and drive the data culture/community.
- Support the Strategy and business development teams in territory planning and quota setting process.
- Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree; preferably in a quantitative field such as Economics, Math, Statistics, or Data Science.
- Minimum 3 years’ working experience as a Data or Business Analyst, preferably with a global multinational.
- Proficiency in Tableau or similar data visualisation tool, Proficiency in SQL. Experience working with large datasets. Working with Snowflake a bonus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate large amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understands cultural differences with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across the global business.
