We are looking for an experienced Property Facultative Underwriter with focus on fire business (loss control / engineering background seen as a plus) for our underwriting team in Singapore. Based in Singapore and reporting to the Regional Head F&C Asia, you will be responsible for business development, underwriting and administration of facultative business for our SEA facility business

**Your Job**
- Underwrite facultative property business with focus on facultative facilities in South East Asia, including assessing the risks, evaluating and providing reinsurance terms and conditions in accordance with the applicable underwriting authority, underwriting guidelines, internal directives, targets and client strategies.
- Grow our existing book of business and exploiting new business potentials by interacting with clients and brokers, understanding their strategy and business needs for developing joint opportunities.
- Develop innovative insurance solutions and products in addition to conventional covers in close co-operation with other business units.
- Support our client management and our treaty underwriters on technical questions and business development by taking a high degree of personal initiative, exploiting all synergies available with Munich Re worldwide.
- Develop and execute risk-management concepts including joining risk inspections for target risks and supporting clients on risk assessment matters
- Organize and conduct seminars and workshops for clients and internal staff, providing clients with value-added services.
- Carry out portfolio performance and market analysis.

**Your Profile**
- Professional underwriting experience in the primary or reinsurance property insurance market for at least 5 years with Property (Re)insurance for Large Corporate Single Risks.
- Able to demonstrate a strong affinity to develop digital or automated underwriting solutions
- Experience in engineering and risk management / risk inspections would be advantageous
- Strong IT and analytical skills.
- Knowledge and experience of using natural catastrophe model as an advanced user level preferable.
- Fluent business English (written and spoken) and desirably Bahasa Indonesia and/or Thai (written and spoken)
- Good communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Ability to work as a team player within a multicultural and multi-location environment.
