About the role

What you need to know:

- Underwriting Direct Insurance and Facultative Reinsurance Property businesses
- Risk selection: Evaluate, accept or decline risk submission in accordance with AIG underwriting guidelines
- Collaborate with risk engineers, claims experts, actuary and legal counsel,
- Underwrite, formulate, implement, administer Multinational programs
- Maintain relationships with assigned brokers
- Monitor business pipelines via Salesforce
- Supervise the administration of policy document, premium booking, credit control & data quality management.
- Comply with internal and external audit requirement.
- Participate in ad-hoc global p. Underwriting Insurance and Facultative Property Reinsurance

What we’re looking for:

- Diploma / university degree
- At least 3-4 years of technical underwriting experience in Property
- General Insurance Certified (BCP, PGI, ComGI)
- Familiar with RMS system
- A knowledge of local and Asian insurance markets.
- Analytical problem-solving skills
- Able to balance underwriting, marketing and clients management responsibility
- Team player, with an ability to build relationships with external business partners and internal stakeholders
- Effective communication (oral and written)
