**SEA PRICING ASSOCIATE MANAGER**

Location: Any location in South East Asia providing there is easy access to regional travel although Singapore is preferred (Note: This role is a local based position. No financial support for relocation is available).

**The Role**:
Janssen Southeast Asia (SEA) is expanding its regional Market Access team. This new role is for a Regional Pricing Associate Manager with experience & capabilities in Pricing and Reimbursement, with responsibilities across the SEA region (Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia and the Philippines). The therapeutic areas covered are oncology, immunology, mental health and rare diseases. The role can be performed from any location in SEA providing there is easy access to regional travel.

The objective of the Regional Pricing Associate Manager, South East Asia is to work with the market access and pricing leads in each Operating company and /or the SEA Alliance manager for the established brands, to create a strong business case for a launch price, change of price or access program that maximizes the access of Janssen products across the region. Specifically, s/he will provide strategic leadership coupled by technical capabilities in developing pricing solutions.

Key activities will include executing the regional pricing strategy, aligning to local, regional and global business objectives. S/he will analyse business performance against key indicators, and triangulate qualitative and quantitative insights to understand the drivers of access that can be applied to grow high value brands. In addition this role will also support the price changes for tenders and explore opportunities for established brands.

The role will have a strong commercial focus and will offer the opportunity for a motivated professional to sharpen his/her skills in negotiation.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Pricing strategy development
- Collect and monitor regular market insight relevant to payer system and competitive environment to foster market understanding
- Work in close cooperation with SEA regional team, and Asia Pacific internal partners to develop and implement pricing strategies to enable/enhance market access for Janssen products
- Support development and implementation of pricing and reimbursement strategy
- Represent SEA operating companies (opco) in pricing review and discussion with Regional team

New pricing opportunity (business development)
- Identify regional or cross-countries pricing opportunities and collaborate with opco and cross-functional-team to develop business cases
- Develop new pricing system that applicable cross-countries or across region to maximize effectiveness of product pricing
- Support development of new business model to for the implementation of regional (cross-countries) pricing system

Operational pricing (pricing implementation)
- Support opco colleagues to consolidate the pricing information into the global pricing database (myPrice)
- Conduct regular review and ensure Opco’s compliance to pricing approval
- Review patient access programs and communicate best practices
- Support SEA Alliance manager in creating a business case for price changes related to tender opportunities or other price changes that expand access or mitigate decline in the established products

Capacity building
- Provide support to SEA regional team and local teams for pricing analytics and reimbursement reviews.
- Support capability building efforts in the SEA region.
- Training on market access pricing strategy and governance

**Qualifications**
**Required**
- Pricing technical expertise which may include financial/data/pricing analytics.
- Proven strong collaboration and numeracy skills.
- Possessing leadership potential, and ability for networking, active listening and influencing.
- Fluent spoken and written English.
- Ability to develop a clear understanding of the company’s financial goals and align strategy to the bigger picture.
