ByteDance's Global Transfer Pricing (TP) team is an integral part of our global Tax Department. Specifically, the SEA TP team takes care of the tax planning, operation, compliance, and controversy work in terms of various types of intercompany transactions engaged by ByteDance's entities based in SEA region.

The job entails the following transfer pricing tax work in relation to SEA entities of ByteDance:
1. TP Planning and Operation
- Prepare functional and financial analyses to establish new TP policies, and/or evaluate/finetune the existing TP policies;
- Establish, manage and implement the transfer pricing price setting, monitoring and review processes;
- Support the implementation of transfer pricing processes, controls, and monitoring periodically;
- Monitor and analyze proposed and newly enacted transfer pricing legislation, regulations and judicial decisions that impact the company operations and financial positions.

2. TP Compliance and Controversy
- Prepare, manage, and maintain SEA contemporaneous transfer pricing documentation process with external consultants;
- Respond to internal and external tax inquiries, and assist business partners with transfer pricing issues timely;
- Conduct internal transfer pricing risk assessment and recommend tax compliance enhancement opportunities.
- Experience in a large MNC and/or an accounting firm
- Comes with a background in Economics, Finance, Management, Business, Mathematics/Statistics, Taxation, or equivalent;
- Solid local transfer pricing knowledge and analytical skills;
- Strong project management skills and verbal communication skills;
- Excellent Stakeholder management skills
