Meta is seeking a highly talented, motivated and flexible commercial lawyer to support the commercial transactional needs of its international revenue generating businesses.The role is primarily business advisory in nature. It will require co-ordination of multiple inputs (across finance, tax and other legal teams) to provide strategic business advice to the internal clients e.g. the Sales teams. From a pure legal technical POV, the successful applicant will focus on reviewing, drafting and negotiating a wide variety of revenue generating commercial agreements with various partners. They will also be required to provide advice in short, succinct and easily digestible formats within quick turnaround times. This is a full-time position and is located in Singapore. The role will require international travel to APAC, EMEA and the U.S.

**Counsel, Commercial (Ads/Revenue Generating) Responsibilities**:

- Primarily business advisory and contract review, drafting, negotiation (ranging from standard contracts to one-off, complex, high-dollar-value transactions) for Meta's internal teams involved in the revenue generating side of the business.
- Building relationships and effectively collaborating with Meta sales, finance and engineering teams as well as other legal teams to ensure business needs are met.
- Administration and resolution of legal issues and contract interpretation matters that arise in existing commercial relationships.
- Flexibility and willingness to work on a broad variety of legal matters as well as participation in other Meta legal projects as required. This can include regulatory related matters.
- Willingness and ability to manage numerous deals and meet tight deadlines as necessary to complete projects.

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- LLB, JD or equivalent degree and excellent academic credentials Membership of at least one bar association in Asia Pacific.
- At least 4 years of post qualification experience in a law firm or in-house.
- Extensive experience working across multi-disciplinary teams ideally on high value transactions.
- Exceptionally strong contract drafting and negotiation skills along with business judgment and strategic thinking.
- Hardworking, well organized and experience managing numerous projects simultaneously under deadline pressure with mínimal supervision.
- Track record of negotiating significant strategic transactions.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Prior in house experience (which may include secondment experience) working with internet or technology companies a plus.
- Experience closely working with tax and/or financial teams is also a plus.
