**Core Responsibilities**:

- Developing and implementing advanced climbing training programs, incorporating innovative route-setting to challenge and engage our members of all levels.
- Conduct one-on-one coaching sessions and group workshops.
- Collaborate with the management team to enhance climbing curriculums and fitness programs.
- Lead by example, promoting a culture of safety, enthusiasm, and continuous improvement.
- Evaluate client progress and adjust programs as needed to ensure goals are met.
- Staying abreast of the latest developments in climbing techniques, training methodologies, route-setting trends, and safety protocols, integrating these into the gym’s offerings.

**Non-Core Responsibilities**:

- Participate in community events and workshops.
- Contribute to the strategic planning of climbing routes and facility upgrades.
- Assist in marketing and social media efforts to promote climbing programs and events.

**Day-to-Day Activities**:

- Designing and supervising training sessions.
- Engaging with clients to discuss progress and goals.
- Maintaining climbing equipment and ensuring safety standards are upheld.
- Collaborating with the team to develop innovative climbing events and challenges.
- Involved in weekly Route-setting sessions

**Position in the Organization**:
Reports directly to the Head of Programs & Gym Manager. Works closely with the Customer Service Team, Marketing Team, and other coaches.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a climbing coach or instructor (min 3 years).
- Strong understanding of fitness and wellness principles.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Certification in climbing instruction or relevant field preferred.
- Passion for climbing and fostering a positive community.
