Cybersecurity Analyst

**Salary**: S$6,000 - S$6,500/month

(a) Skills / Primary Skills
- **Security tooling (1-3 years, hands-on)**:

- **IAM** (e.g., IBM ISAM), **DAM** (e.g., IBM Guardium), **Vulnerability Assessment** (e.g., Tenable Nessus)
- **Security control principles**: Segregation of Duties (SoD), least privilege, patch & vulnerability management basics
- **Certifications (nice to have)**: Security certs (e.g., SSCP/CSA+/**equivalent**) and **AWS Cloud** certification
- **Core competencies**: Analytical triage, clear written reporting, stakeholder communication, proactive problem-solving, strong professional attitude and curiosity about security gaps

(b) Detailed Job Description

**Role summary**:
Work within a security operations/engineering team to **monitor, detect and reduce risk** across the environment, maintaining toolsets and ensuring timely response/resolution to vulnerabilities and alerts.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Operate & administer security toolsets** (IAM, DAM, key management, VA) in line with the security management plan; ensure health, policy updates and access controls are effective
- **Alert triage & response**: Acknowledge, investigate and resolve security alerts from toolsets **within SLA**, escalating when necessary
- **Vulnerability management**: Run scans, validate findings, assess impact/severity, and **track remediation/patching** to meet stipulated timelines
- **Advisory on new CVEs**: Assess applicability of newly published vulnerabilities to in-use components; maintain status tracking through closure
- **Reporting**: Produce concise reports on vulnerabilities, risks, exceptions and remediation progress; support audit/metrics needs
- **Process improvement**: Co-develop SOPs/runbooks and contribute to initiatives that streamline/fine-tune security operations

**Qualifications & Experience**
- Diploma/Degree in Information Security, Computer Science, IT or equivalent experience
- **1-3 years** hands-on with IAM/DAM/VA tools (examples above) in enterprise environments
- Proficient in **security control principles** (incl. SoD) and basic scripting/automation mindset is a plus
- Strong communication skills; collaborative and **passionate about finding and fixing security gaps**
