**About This Role: -**
The AML Compliance Officer will support the Compliance Department in overseeing ADX’s business processes and operations for compliance with applicable Notices and Guidelines, as well as MAS regulations issued under section 27A of the MAS Act, and to promote a culture of compliance in AsiaNext.
**Responsibilities**
Anti-Money Laundering
- Work with KYC/Onboarding team to conduct due diligence on new and existing clients, including sanction screening;
- Support daily transaction monitoring by identifying and analysing indicators of increased risk;
- Maintenance of all relevant records, including training logs; and
- Deputizing the MLRO, as needed
- Regulatory Affairs & Compliance
- Support in company establishment and licensing process
- Monitor regulatory developments (regulatory and policy change initiatives) with respect to AsiaNext business relevance (impact, opportunity, and risk assessment of such changes/projects)
- Assist in providing regulatory advisory to AsiaNext employees
- Pro-active Compliance involvement in projects and new initiatives, both from a Compliance risk perspective and the design of new products and services that include Compliance capabilities
- Contact for internal and external auditors, and closely cooperating with business and technology specialists
- Assist in monitoring, managing, and tracking completion of adherence to regulatory expectations
**Qualifications And Experience**
Education
- Degree or Diploma in Finance, Business Management, Accounting, Law, etc
Experience and Skill
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in AML and/or compliance in a financial institution
- Familiarity with digital assets and exchange regulations will be beneficial
- CAMS/ICA qualifications will be advantageous
- Able to operate in a fast-paced environment
