The Role
Reporting to Director Sales for India and SEA, you will play a critical role in building and executing the go-to-market strategy for Medical Solution Division in Singapore, setting the company up for success long term in the country. Benefitting from having a market-leading product portfolio, you will be responsible for expanding strategic relationships with customers and key stakeholders and growing the company’s revenue in the country at this critical stage.
Being resourceful and hunting down opportunities with a relentless customer focus and an approach aimed to develop and execute data driven account plans in the country will set you up for success. Immediately on joining the business, you will work with the team to understand the current GTM model within the country, existing relationships, and new business opportunities upon which a pipeline to support near-term growth can be built and converted. You will help define the go-to-market strategy to meet market expectations and customer needs to drive faster adoption of prioritized portfolios. You will also be responsible for hiring and developing the team within the country to scale the business and continue to develop the local team to build a sales team with the primary focus of expanding the business. Following a period of integration, you will conclude a series of customer wins, increase revenue velocity, and establish yourself as a senior leader in the organisation. You will then seek to accelerate revenue growth, taking the portfolio and the business to market as a larger sales team, targeting new, and partnering with a capable marketing and clinical organisation to drive exponential growth. You will look to scale the product’s footprint across the country and build the commercial performance to support an ultra-high growth business.
With Singapore’s robust health care ecosystem being an attractive base for HealthTech solutions with solid practitioner trust, you will have the task to position the subsidiary to becoming a testbed for smooth commercialization of new products and services to then expand more broadly in the region. You will also develop strategic initiatives with our customers to promote and enhance leading innovations to help meet the need of the people that our customers care for every day. This could include partnership with academic centres that provides exceptional care and are dedicated to continuously improving patient safety and clinical outcomes through research, innovation, training, and development. All this being part of a master plan to provide quality and accessible care to better serve the healthcare needs in Singapore as well is in SEA, with Singapore being the driving force.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute and formulate a data driven sales strategy within Singapore, enhance revenue growth by penetrating the current customer base, and develop a new customer base.- Work with the Director Sales for India + SEA to manage and control financials within the region building a successful, sustainable and dynamic regional sales performance.- Continually monitor the sales activity of the team and track the results; report on sales activity and forecast to the division- Provide market feedback to the leadership team influencing product strategy and positioning.- Perform regular individual meetings with the sales team, as well as supporting client visits with sales reps where necessary.- Work closely with SEA Channel Leader, Asia Director Marketing, Thailand Marketing Leader and others to inspire the local teams of Channel Sales, End-User Sales, Clinical Specialist, Inside Sales and Marketers to execute on country strategy.- Hire, train, and develop team members to align with company values, growth, and business objectives.- Provide ongoing training and development of the sales team.- Define new business initiatives based on market understanding and data insight for prioritized portfolio, market segments and care pathways to generate new opportunities with a demonstrable Return on Investment.- Support, manage and motivate the local team by participating in New Business and Existing customer meetings and helping the team reach the
