**Job Role Description**:
Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all equipment runs smoothly and reliably. He will also be responsible for the operation and maintenance of all equipment used in the plant, deal with any breakdown of reported equipment, conduct inspections and help in updating the maintenance schedule.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- To perform operation, maintenance and servicing of Biogas Engine Generator.
- Inspect, check and operate gas engine generators as per manufacturer recommendation and ensure all its ancillaries including the gas analyzers are well maintained.
- Check, operate and troubleshoot on biogas fuel supply system, cleaning system, booster system, electrical system, instrumentation, control and automation (ICA) system.
- Check and operate the building services system including the fire protection system and gas detection system, and closed-circuit television (CCTV) system.
- Conduct maintenance and adjust the gas engine load, bio column and activated carbon (AC) column opening when needed.
- Follow the maintenance schedule and attend to any breakdowns reported.
- Ensuring that all activities are carried out according to planned maintenance and adhere to all safety regulations.
- Keeping a record of preventive and emergency maintenance carried out.
- Assist in preparing documentation when required.
- Other duties as assigned by your superior.

**_Education and Experience: _**
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, chemical or environmental)
- Minimum of 3 years experience in facilities engineering or similar
- Understanding of building regulations and health and safety.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to work well with non-engineering colleagues.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot on the spot.
- Experience with project management principles.
