**The Role**

Join us at Alpha X Technology as an **Accountant**, where you’ll play a key role in supporting our financial operations and contributing to the growth of innovative solutions for the semiconductor industry. You’ll be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance, and supporting reporting processes that help drive sound business decisions across the organization.

**What You Will Do**

As an **Accountant,**you will:

- Handle end-to-end accounts payable including invoice processing, vendor payments, and expense accruals.
- Maintain accurate financial records, perform general ledger (GL) reviews, and ensure timely month-end closing.
- Prepare monthly group consolidation reports in accordance with SFRS.
- Monitor and reconcile intercompany transactions, including preparation of elimination entries.
- Support annual audits by liaising with external auditors and preparing audit schedules.
- Prepare and submit quarterly GST returns and assist in other tax-related matters for the Singapore entity.
- Ensure compliance with local tax and accounting regulations.
- Drive improvements in internal controls, accounting procedures, and financial reporting.
- Coordinate with external stakeholders such as banks, corporate secretary, vendors, customers, and government agencies.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in the software or B2B services industry.
- Professional certifications such as CPA or ACCA are advantageous.
- Solid knowledge of SFRS, IFRS, and Singapore taxation.
- Proactive, able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience working in a multi-entity environment is a plus.
- Proficient in using accounting systems, especially Xero.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Willingness to take on ad-hoc tasks and contribute to project initiatives.
