The role of Junior IT Project Manager will involve supporting the planning, execution, and successful delivery of IT projects (End User Support Scope) within an organization. You will work closely with senior project managers and cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed within scope, budget, and timeline. Here are some key roles and responsibilities associated with the position
- Assist in defining project objectives, scope, deliverables, and timelines.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather project requirements and create project plans.
- Support the development of project schedules, resource allocation, and risk management plans.
- Coordinate project activities and ensure tasks are completed as per the defined project plan.
- Monitor project progress, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions.
- Facilitate effective communication between team members, stakeholders, and vendors.
- Document and maintain project documentation, including meeting minutes, status reports, and project artifacts
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT specialists, developers, testers, and business stakeholders.
- Assign tasks, track progress, and ensure team members have the necessary resources to complete their work.
- Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, promoting effective communication and teamwork.
- Prior experience in IT project management, preferably in a junior or assistant role.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies and frameworks (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Understanding of project management principles, tools, and techniques.
- Experience in leading a team of at least 3 to 5 Engineers.
- Experience in tracking and reporting of Projects.
- Experience in Communication with Clients and presenting Project updates. (Good to have)
- Experience in Delegating information and instructions to Project Engineers. (Leadership)
- Experience in Delivering of Project and/or Project enhancements within schedule and scope.
- Experience in Designing and implementing solutions to meet business needs.
- Experience in Risk Management and initiative response, planning and execution.
