As the Head of Asia Media Development Engineering, the role is based in one of our Woodlands Singapore Site and reports to the Vice President of Asia Media and Substrate Development, based in US. In this role, the incumbent is responsible for leading the Asia region across Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and China.

**About the role - you will**:

- Work closely with our US team (Fremont) development team on knowledge transfer, to replicate & qualify new media technology such as new magnetic design & new HDM process & material. Enhance media development capability in our Singapore Woodlands Site by recruiting new talents, enhancing joint development activities, & utilizing resources in Woodlands Operations team. Allocate & coordinate resources in Woodlands & Fremont to provide engineering solution in product qualifications. Communicate with drive DC, factories & executives with key issues during qualification.
- Develop & implement detailed engineering management plans & monitor their execution through comprehensive reporting to management team. Provide technical guidance in new media technology introduction. Provide technical advice & counsel to Project teams on key day to day activities & associated issues that arise during project execution & delivery.
- Internal functional management including resource planning, performance management & career development of team members, developing succession & personal development plans, & seek out future organizational talent. Maintain a positive & ethical work climate that is conducive to attracting, retaining & motivating a diverse group of top-quality employees at all levels.

**Your experience includes**:

- Bachelor, Master of Science or PH.D in the fields of engineering and science.
- Minimum 10 years and above of direct experience in development or manufacturing of magnetic thin film media
- Strong track record of managing multiple-functional groups in a diverse environment
- Good communication skill and inter-personal skill
