**THE ROLE**

As the **Head of Field Operations for Malaysia**, you are a** **core member of the local Executive Team and lead our efforts to drive a step change in Operational Excellence. In this role, you work closely with the Managing Director, local sales leaders, and Functional Leaders to support the Malaysia‘s next chapter of growth. The role is a key member of the SEA Global Business Operations Team and reports into the SEA Head of Global Field Operations.

As a strategic business partner and the trusted advisor to the MD of the country, you formulate and lead the operational strategy with a focus on driving higher levels of field productivity through operational excellence across our LACE Franchise Operating Model incl. Go to Market Management, Sales Planning, Demand Management, Deal Execution, Forecasting, Performance Management and Renewals. You collaborate closely with Services and CE&X Leadership to ensure execution across LACE.

**KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Driving Operational Excellence and scalable success: Drive SAP’s Sales Franchise methodology and support the implementation and adoption of Land, Adopt, Consume, and Expand across the market unit.
- Building and fostering trusted Business Relationships: Position yourself as a leader, build trust beyond the local team, and inspire stakeholders for the vision of operational excellence in Malaysia. Drive change through influence.
- Embracing and fostering a one team mentality: Break down silos and proactively identify joint solutions between different teams. Demonstrate pride for operational excellence and create a positive and open-minded path forward for sales support and operational execution.
- Executing against day-to-day operational requirements: Manage GTM Strategy and Implementation, Sales Planning, Demand Management, Forecasting, Deal Execution, and Performance Management.
- Simplify and innovate: Identify issues and drive innovation with a focus on automation, simplification, and efficiency. Contribute to the regional and global Operations Communities through best practices and insights.

**EXPERIENCE AND LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS**
- 4+ years of professional working experience. Experience working within operations-related, managerial, consulting, or sales functions is an advantage
- Deep understanding of sales processes in a business-to-business environment
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills (English)
- Strong executive presence and leadership skills
- Ability to influence without authority
- Strong analytical skills and detail orientation
