Data Science & AI Department, under the Tech Division, leads the transformation of Rakuten by commercialization of Artificial Intelligence, Cognitive Computing and Machine Intelligence Technologies for Rakuten businesses.

With access to Rakuten’s ecosystem of more than 70 services, global businesses and technology expertise across Asia, Europe and the Americas, **AI Solutions Incubation Section** goal is to ideate, develop and provide transformative AI products in the fields of Commerce, Financial Services, Marketing and other Rakuten focus areas. AI Solutions Incubation Section accelerates the adoption and impact of AI / ML technologies via utilizing billions of consumers and industry data points accumulated within Rakuten’s ecosystem.

**Summary of the Role**

We are looking for a Senior Producer who will be assist in creation of Rakuten’s data products to deliver AI/ML solutions, drive growth, and collaborate across the company to accelerate incubation and delivery of new AI/ML-based capabilities to impact the entire Rakuten ecosystem. You will work with business leaders across the organization to understand the challenges that can be solved through innovative AI/ML-based solutions, and you will be a critical part to delivering the solutions to the Rakuten business units. You will also lead collaborations among cross-functional, cross-organizational, and cross-border teams while working closely with business-side stakeholders.

**Role and Responsibilities**:

- Managing portfolio of accounts to achieve long term success
- Developing positive relationships and handling customer needs
- Creating new opportunities using existing or potential business networks
- Project Management (Scheduling, Stakeholder Management, etc)
- Financial planning of the project and smooth communication with the business.
- Requirement Clarifications, Project/Product Direction and smooth out communications with product development team.
- Communicate and negotiate with both internal & external stakeholders as a leader of accounts
- Backlog Management, Business Improvement, Operation Management

**Requirements**:

- 5+ years of proven work experience as Account manager / Sales / Pre-sales /Business Dev / Customer success manager
- Bilingual in both Japanese & English, as you will be required to liaise frequent with stakeholders based both in our Japan HQ and Rakuten Asia office.
- Experience in AI Domain with basic understanding of product development will be highly advantageous
- Project Management Experience with experience in managing budgets and pricing
- Experiences working on multiple products/projects in parallel
- Logical & flexible communication skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: Up to $13,000.00 per month
