**Job Summary**:
**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Assist Head of Operations & Client Support in managing laboratory ’s day to day operation and administrative role, with focus on safety, quality, productivity and compliance.
- Assist for inventory management, quality assurance activities and updating laboratory protocols, investigation, and documentation of adverse incidents.
- Assist to oversee inventory management and expense tracking.
- To oversee the administration, laboratory information system and compliance & QA section.
- Assist in develop, implement, and continuously improve section operating procedures in accordance with technical and operational requirements.
- Participate in assisting to develop, implement and continuously improve lab’s quality, regulatory and safety standards to ensure compliance with all applicable local and global regulatory requirement, including but not limited to PHMC, ISO15189, CAP.
- Assist team in the development, validation, and implementation of new workflow.
- Assist in staff performance appraisal.
- Any additional duties as assigned by reporting officer.
**Desired Skills and Competencies**
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science, Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 5-7 years laboratory operation experience preferred
- Experience in managerial role preferred
- Ability to lead, supervise, guide and train subordinates are essential
- Keen interest to learn and genuine passion, demonstrated work
- Strong team player with positive work attitude, analytical minded, result-oriented, good communication and interpersonal skills
- Good general health and no colour blindness*
- _Colour-blindness is the inability to perceive differences between some colour that other people can distinguish. Using a literature search, the results indicate the prevalence of colour vision deficiency in the medical profession and medical laboratory skills. It would be a wide range of difficulties by colour blinded employees in their practice of laboratory diagnosis and techniques with a potentially of errors._
