**Job Overview**:
Oliver Wyman’s Singapore Office are looking to appoint a Manager to support its continued expansion in the Private Capital team, a strategic priority for the firm. Oliver Wyman’s Private Capital team serve investor and strategic clients throughout the transaction lifecycle: from opportunity identification through due diligence, M&A execution and on to post-transaction value realization. We achieve this through proven, results-oriented approaches across all sectors of the market. Our team works across industry sectors spanning Financial Services, Healthcare, Transportation, Consumer, Technology, Business Services and many others. The Engagement Manager position offers excellent career and growth opportunities for talented, highly motivated professionals with significant prior experience. As a professional member of our firm, your initial responsibilities will include:

- Leading teams of consultants in complex analysis and problem solving including: problem structuring, analytical techniques, synthesis, and client implications
- Planning and executing analysis for individual project modules: developing hypotheses, managing data collection, model creation and analyses, primary and secondary research and surfacing insights
- Supporting partners project execution through excellent case management: work planning, managing work flow, upward management and coaching/developing team members
- Managing client relationships and networks, presenting to board audiences, and working day to day with clients
- Effective and impactful communication of issues and solutions, in formal and informal settings, through written and verbal communication
- Support the business development of the Corporate Finance & Advisory team through marketing document preparation, proposals, client workshops and other activities
**Desired Skills and Experience**:

- At least 6-8 years of relevant experience, ideally with a top-tier strategy consulting firm (or similar organization).
- Experience of working with or for investors on transaction related topics - strong preference for individuals with a track record in commercial due diligence and / or portfolio company support
- Industry expertise in financial services,, transportation / logistics, technology, consumer / retail, technology or business services would be a big plus
- A strong background in strategic problem solving with demonstrable analytical skills.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in both formal and informal settings.
- Fluent in English, other SEA languages a big plus
- An undergraduate or advanced degree from a top academic program.
- Willingness to travel.
- Know how to take the initiative, seeking out opportunities to learn new skills and put the ones you’ve already got to good use.
- Not just intelligence, but creativity too: you’ll be ready to come up with novel ideas to solve our clients’ biggest problems.
Track record of leading and managing teams and delivering against tight deadlines in fast paced and demanding environments
