Director, Send

The Product and Engineering team vision is to create a world beyond plastic through a combination of technology and strategic partnerships. We are creating great experiences for consumers across all channels and all devices, enabling issuers and merchants to reach new consumers in ways not possible in the pre-digital world. We work with banks, merchants and digital participants to enable consumers to use connected devices for everyday shopping and payments, whether online or offline, on their smartphone, at a retail POS, or through an IoT device. The Director - Send position is based in Singapore and will be reporting into the Vice President - Send. This small but dynamic team will be laser-focused on scaling our push payment solutions (Mastercard Send) across key Asia Pacific (AP) markets and the region overall.

Role
- Be a key contributor to the Mastercard Send team for AP - an exciting, dynamic opportunity to create real differentiators for Mastercard in a strategically important and rapidly growing payments area for the company
- Engage with Mastercard management globally, regionally and in market to develop the strategic direction, GTM and commercialization plans for Mastercard Send tailored to local conditions
- Partner with our global, regional and market teams, and across other functional teams, including QR, Digital Partnerships, Pre-paid and more to identify opportunity in push payment solutions
- Coordinate strategy, integration and deployment with the regional and global digital teams.
- Work with key AP markets to scale existing and launch new solutions, as well as helping drive commercial engagement with new fintech partners, issuers and acquirers

All About You
- MBA or Masters Degree preferred
- Experience in the digital payments space in Asia Pacific with proven success in bringing new products to market and generating adoption
- In-depth understanding of the payments ecosystem both in Asia Pacific and globally, including issuance, acceptance, tokenization, fast ACH/RTP, push payments, POS and POI, gateway
- Operational understanding of payments technologies
- Ability to leverage technical knowledge & real-world experience to solve complex business problems
- Possess a strong combination of strategic, commercial and product mindset
- Excellent problem solving and project management skills
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong, productive working relationships with internal stakeholders and external customers
- Ability to influence people at multiple levels and navigate a global, decentralized organization
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to develop creative solutions for customer needs across multiple products and services
- Travel required
