**Job Description**:
University Health Centre (UHC) set up under NUS, is a holistic healthcare provider for the entire NUS community. You will provide laboratory services in UHC, to aid in the diagnosis and monitoring of diseases. In addition, you will assist in the on-going quality control checks to ensure test results are precise and accurate.

Duties & Responsibilities:
(a) Assist in the performance of basic clinical laboratory tests and ensure the accuracy and integrity of test results.
(b) Maintain quality control of laboratory testing and prepare accurate and timely laboratory reports.

(c) Ensure all work practices comply with applicable regulatory and accreditation requirement of the Clinical Laboratory.
(d) Assist to implement, perform, record and monitor all quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA) programmes as required.
(e) Maintain the laboratory documents, records and filing systems of the Clinical Laboratory.
(f) Maintain a clean, sterile and safe laboratory environment at the Clinical Laboratory.
(g) Assist in the general administration of the Clinical Laboratory.
(h) Assist in implementing and updating of SOPs for laboratory testing and safety procedures.

(i) Perform other medical laboratory-related duties (eg. venepuncture, ECG, Audiogram etc), or ad-hoc departmental projects/activities as assigned by the management.Qualifications

1. Possesses a Diploma in Biomedical Science, Medical Laboratory Technology or equivalent
2. At least 2 years of hands-on experience in a medical laboratory setting in haematology, clinical chemistry, blood banking or microbiology disciplines.
4. Able to work independently with mínimal supervision, as well as a team.
5. Pleasant personality with excellent customer service skills
6. Possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills.More Information
