**Summary:
The Senior Medical Technologist (Haematology) is responsible for performing and interpreting haematology tests on patient samples. The Senior Medical Technologist will work closely with other laboratory professionals to provide accurate and timely results that support patient care.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Perform haematology tests on patient samples, including complete blood count (CBC), differential white blood cell count (WBC), and platelet count.
- Interpret haematology test results and report findings to physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain haematology laboratory equipment and supplies.
- Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities.
- Train and mentor junior laboratory staff.
- Stay up-to-date on current haematology practices and trends.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience as a Medical Technologist in haematology.
- Strong knowledge of haematology principles and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in laboratory computer systems.
